Navigating ANIMEX

Navigating ANIMEX is simply a matter of clicking on one of the navigation buttons that appear at the left of each page:

  • ANIMEX home - an explanation of the ANIMEX database.
  • Search - enables you to search the ANIMEX database.
  • What's changed - provides a hyperlink to all the export conditions changes approved in the last month.
  • Contacts - provides the contact email address of the ANIMEX representative in each state.
  • Help - explains how to navigate and search the ANIMEX database.

To return to the AQIS homepage click on the AQIS home ICON in the top left hand corner of the page. 

How to search

To search for specific protocols, select the relevant country and/or species from the list provided by clicking on the arrow on the right hand side of the respective fields. Then click on the search button to retrieve the results.

For example, to search for 'cat to New Zealand' select 'New Zealand' from the country field and 'cat' from the species field.

Retrieving results

After entering the correct information in the relevant fields, click the search button to retrieve the results.

The result page may display a number of options. Click on the relevant hyperlink for the protocols you require.

Can't find information?

If ANIMEX does not contain information on a specific species, the export conditions may not be available or it may be a prohibited export.  In this case contact an ANIMEX representative.
