Restriction:
All consignments are to be fee of soil and other extraneous mattter. All cuttings in the consignment are to be officially inspected and to be found free of any visually detectable regulated pests. If visually detectable pests are found which are not listed in the Biosecurity New Zealand import health statndard, the pests regulatory status must be established prior to certification. This information is available in MAF's "Biosecurity Organisms Register for Imported Commodities" on their web page.

All cuttings must be treated for insects and mites as Section 2. 2.1.06 (b) of the Biosecurity New Zealand Standard 155.02.06: Importation of Nursery Stock (published on the Biosecurity New Zealand web site) Details of treatment must be endorsed on the Phytosanitary certificate in the treatment section. If any required treatment is not completed within the prescribed period prior to export, these measures must be completed in New Zealand where such services are available, and by prior arrangement with MAF.
